… I [will] in a vague and personal way […] state the philosophy in which I have come to believe. I will not call it my philosophy; for I did not make it. God and humanity made it; and it made me. G.K. Chesterton
“The Makings of a Madman” is the in my blog where I want to highlight all of the people who have had a role in making me the man I am today, philosophically and theologically speaking.
Every person has a story. Every person brings their own perspective. Not every person sees things the way I do, but all of them have done or been something that I could take away for myself.
Like Chesterton, I cannot in good conscience call my philosophy, “my philosophy,” and I cannot call my theology, “my theology,” for I did not make them on my own. God and humanity made them, and they made me.
